How is Confluence Wellness Center different?

Much of what we do is unique to us in this area. We have selected the best tools and methods available in the worlds of natural, holistic, alternative, integrative, and root-cause health care. We combine traditional practices that have stood the test of time with leading-edge science to deliver exceptional results.

Who might benefit from our approach?

We have been able to help many people who have not received the results they wished for from more conventional practices as well as alternative clinics for their difficult and chronic conditions. We work with people of all ages, from small children to seniors, and we have helped many women throughout their pregnancies.

Do I need to have a problem to benefit from your care?

One of the wonderful things about our type of care is that it can be used preventively as well as to deal with problems. While many people come to us to deal with specific issues, some work with us to maximize their resistance to future problems, and others to enhance their general wellness and feel their best.

What conditions do you work with?

Over the years we have worked with people dealing with a wide variety of physical and mental/emotional complaints. In addition to head and body injuries and all types of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, we have helped people with migraines and other headaches, various digestive problems and internal disorders, anxiety, depression, brain fog, allergies, asthma, sinus problems, environmental illness, sleep problems, fatigue, and many other conditions.

Do your treatments hurt? Are they safe?

Our treatments are gentle and non-abrupt. They are safe for all ages and most situations, including after surgery. Most people seem to enjoy them.

Do you work with insurance?

The medical insurance model is based on minimizing doctor-patient interaction and expenses, even if your problems persist. Our model is based on providing the best possible care in the fastest, most expedient, most efficient, and long-term economical manner. We have found that we get the best results when we see people for longer office visits, using many treatment modalities that are unfamiliar to insurance companies. We treat preventively as well as to fix problems, and we often find that your symptoms are actually caused or contributed to by problems you are unaware of. We serve you, not your insurance company.

Because of these things, the insurance companies don’t understand our services, fee structures, and the time we spend with people, so we are forced to be out-of-network for all insurance programs at this time.

We ask our patients to pay for their care at the time of service, with cash, check, or credit cards, regardless of your insurance coverage.
As a courtesy to you, we can bill your insurance company for you as “out-of-network providers.” Whatever they reimburse will go back to you. We are not able to provide insurance follow-up.

Please call us at 303-394-4204 to discuss your specific situation.

What does your intake procedure involve?

Typically, as a new client you will fill out forms that will guide the focus of your initial visit. We will talk with you about your concerns , expectations, and goals, ask questions about your health history, review any documentation you have brought with you, perform appropriate diagnostic examination procedures, and recommend additional diagnostic procedures if indicated. We will outline a proposed treatment program, and based on your approval, begin working together to enhance your health.

How much care will I need? Do I need to keep coming in?

We do not have any set treatment schedules or programs. Every situation and person is different, and will require a personalized treatment program. Rather than tell you what you need to do to get better, we choose to advise you about what we believe to be true, and work together to choose the program that works best for you. Our experience has been that people like what we do and the results they receive, and want to keep coming in until they feel they have gotten the improvement they were hoping for.

As a rule, we tend to see people less frequently than you may have expected.

Do you require X-rays or laboratory tests?

We recommend rather than require diagnostic testing when indicated. There are many non-invasive diagnostic procedures that can help us provide the best care. But you decide what you would like to incorporate into your care program.

Do you refer to other health care providers?

We are fortunate to have trusted practitioners in other health care fields that we can refer you to if indicated, and who refer patients to us. In many case we work collaboratively with other practitioners to provide you with the optimal outcome.

We also recognize that although there are many things we can help, there are those things that won’t likely respond to what we do, and we are comfortable referring our patients for other types of health care if necessary.

What hours do you work?

We schedule appointments during the week Monday to Friday. Please call us @ 303 394-4204 for our current schedule.
