Matrix Repatterning has been recognized as a key treatment for concussion and traumatic brain injury.
(we are the only Matrix Repatterning providers in the Rocky Mountain region)
Norman Doidge, MD, psychiatrist, neurologist, and author of the New York Times bestseller THE BRAIN THAT CHANGES ITSELF, is a strong proponent of Matrix Repatterning.
In his newly released book, THE BRAIN’S WAY OF HEALING, Dr. Doidge refers to Matrix Repatterning as an important “first intervention” in the treatment of concussion and traumatic brain injury.
After reviewing a number of remarkable recoveries brought about by Matrix Repatterning, Dr Doidge states:
“I VIEW IT AS PRUDENT TO HAVE A MATRIX ASSESSMENT AFTER A BLOW TO THE HEAD… OBSERVING SUCH CASES HAS LED ME TO HOPE THAT ONE DAY MATRIX REPATTERNING WILL BE ROUTINELY APPLIED IN HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS.”
One of our cases can serve as an example. “Bob” is a young man who came to see us 3 years after falling from the top of a bunk bed and hitting the back of his head on a concrete floor. In the 3 years since the injury he had not slept a full night and felt “out of it.” His ability to focus and concentrate on tasks was poor, and he was troubled by anxiety, frustration, and irritability. He suffered from neck pain and stiffness, arm pain and stiffness, and headaches 2 to 3 times per week. His parents and friends told him “he wasn’t like himself.”
After his first Matrix Repatterning treatment Bob slept through the night for the first time in 3 years. His parents called to say “he’s back!” His personality returned to normal, his moods stabilized, and his pain diminished. After a few more treatments, all his symptoms were resolved, and all of his adverse neurological findings were normalized.
So what makes Matrix Repatterning so special for head injuries?
Medical treatment is needed for severe head injuries that involve fractures or bleeding inside the skull. But medical treatment is limited for mild traumatic brain injuries. Anti-inflammatory medication, bedrest, and watchful waiting are typically the only treatments available in the medical world, and unfortunately, these things don’t address the cause of the problems that head injury patients experience.
You see, in addition to shaking up your brain, head injuries involve impacts absorbed by the bone matrix of your skull. Those impacts change the properties of the bone, which leads to changes in brain function that are unrelated to damage to the nerve tissue itself.
Matrix Repatterning can identify where the impact injuries have been absorbed and assist your body in discharging the residual effects of the impact. This often produces rapid improvements in brain function, regardless of what has happened to the brain itself.
Nothing else works like Matrix Repatterning. Everything else treats the symptoms, not the cause.
